Certification of Documents

Documents to provide:

1. A completed application form for legalization.
2. The original document in English, must be first authenticated at the Ministry of Foreign affairs Nigeria (

For Cameroon nationals

• The original documents must be authenticated first at the Cameroon High Commission

For Ghanian nationals

• The original document must be authenticated first at the Ghana High commission

3. A copy of a valid passport
4. A power of attorney is required if the applicant cannot submit the application by themselves.
5. A copy of the passport data page of both parties in such power of attorney must be attached.
6. Application fee is 25,000 Naira per seal.

Important notes

• Legalization process takes 5 working days
• All documents for authentication must be submitted at the Royal Thai Embassy Abuja
• Submission time is between (10.00am – 12:00pm)
